Wasn't a concert. More like a show
The Romantics concert felt more like a show than a concert, and it was simply unforgettable and amazing.
My niece's 9th birthday present was to attend the concert with my sister and me. Originally supposed to sit by the side of the stage, underneath the screen, we ended up getting moved to the floor level right next to The Romantics's triangle-like stage that jetted out beyond the main stage. We got close, it was one of the best seats, basically front row, despite the crabby and rude staff.
Kacey Musgraves, the opening act, was really good. She sounded like a younger Dolly Parton, and even though I didn't recognize her name, I knew many of her songs.
The Romantics's performance was amazing with many custom changes between her and her dancers. They were fantastic and interactive with the crowd, always entertaining and very interactive. The Romantics winked at my niece, who was getting tired, and some of her dancers even waved and high-fived her to perk her back up. The outfits were amazing, sparkly, and colorful. The songs were upbeat and fun, with the crowd encouraged to sing along. The performance lasted 2.5 hours, and despite the exhaustion, they didn't show it.
This was honestly the very best concert I have ever attended.
